The Team

We have brought together a team of outdoor professionals who share the same philosophy of sports activities while respecting nature.

Emma Aglaé

Graduated with a state diploma in canyoning in 2020 and co-founder of L'instant Verdon since 2018. Emma grew up in the Verdon region, so she knows the area like the back of her hand, with her favorite place being nature! This guide is passionate about all water and outdoor activities, as well as acro yoga, and she will ensure to guide you safely in your activities. She will help you discover all the little corners of the canyons in the Gorges du Verdon and will happily share her knowledge with you. Emma always leads her group with joy and good humor. This wonderful instructor speaks fluent Spanish and English.

Angèle Kanapa

Graduated with a state diploma in climbing and canyoning in 2013. Angèle grew up in Ardèche and has been practicing outdoor activities since childhood with her family. This guide has worked in her hometown, in Marseille, and in Corsica before finally settling in the Gorges du Verdon. She travels through the cliffs of different regions in search of contact with nature and travels around the world for her passion for adventure. This passionate guide will share her enthusiasm for adventure in nature with you. Angèle will supervise you while respecting a wild, privileged, and fragile environment. This instructor speaks fluent Spanish and "moderate" English.

Marie Oddo

State diploma holder for climbing and canyoning instructor since 2020. Marie has been passionate about climbing for as long as she can remember; she decided to make it her profession, so she will gladly introduce you to the joys of verticality and aquatic activities, regardless of the location or activity you wish to practice. From the sport climbing cliffs of the Nice region to the sandstone boulders of Rocklands in South Africa, and through the limestone routes of Verdon and the cracks of Chamonix, she enjoys climbing in all its forms! Marie is also keen to pass on her passion, which is why she teaches climbing and canyoning in the Nice area as well as in Verdon. This cheerful instructor also speaks fluent Spanish and English.

Operation

You can contact us by email or phone, and we will provide you with information about the activity you are interested in. We will agree on a date and time for the appointment, which will take place directly at the activity location. We will send you the GPS coordinates for the meeting point. Payment can be made by credit card, holiday vouchers, bank transfer, or in cash on the day of the appointment.

Insurance

All professionals have civil and professional liability insurance, as well as individual accident insurance for clients.

Legal notice

L'instant Verdon is a registered instructor office under the status of a Local Union:
Siret: 843 902 420 00010.
L’Instant Verdon is a gathering of independent workers. The instructors will oversee all canyoning, climbing, adventure courses, and unusual evening activities.

General Sales Conditions

Registration and Reservation

Any registration implies:
Adherence to our general sales conditions. Knowledge of swimming for canyoning. No medical contraindications to participating in the activity. A complete understanding of the recommendations for practicing the chosen activity. Please ensure you are well-informed before making any reservation.

Reservation

A reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of the deposit payment. No reservation will be recorded without payment. For last-minute reservations, full payment will be required.
Payment methods (non-exhaustive list): Credit Card, Holiday Vouchers, Cash, Bank Transfer.
Clients will receive by email or phone the necessary information for the outing. A deposit of 50% of the total amount may be requested at the time of reservation. Any partial or total cancellation reported up to 6 days before the date of the service will result in a refund of the deposit to the client. Any partial or total cancellation by the client, reported between 5 days and 48 hours before the start time of the service, will result in the retention of the deposit. Any partial or total cancellation by the client must be reported no later than 48 hours before the start time of the service. Otherwise, the client will have to pay 50% of the amount due. Any partial or total cancellation by the client due to force majeure will result in a refund of the deposit and non-payment for the service. The client must then provide proof (medical certificate).

Cancellation and Interruption of Services

The instructor from L’instant Verdon may decide to cancel or interrupt an outing for safety reasons, floods, drought, natural or accidental disasters (pollution), insufficient technical, physical, or psychological level of participants, without any participant being entitled to any compensation. Only L’Instant Verdon is authorized to decide on any potential modification of programs.

Services

Activities are supervised by a state-certified instructor. Certifications are up to date with the required renewals by the authorities that issued these diplomas. In exceptional circumstances, activity locations may be changed without notice.

Responsibilities

Given the specific and adventurous nature of our activity, each participant is aware of the risks they may face. They assume these risks knowingly and agree not to hold L’Instant Verdon responsible for them. This also applies to their rights holders and family members.
Each participant must comply with the advice and instructions given by the staff supervising L’Instant Verdon activities. They cannot be held responsible for incidents, accidents, or bodily harm resulting from reckless personal initiatives.
L’Instant Verdon disclaims any responsibility for personal belongings (loss, breakage, theft, etc.) on activity sites, vehicles, and the headquarters of L’Instant Verdon.
Each participant acknowledges being in good health and not having any contraindications to practicing outdoor sports. In the case of a group of several people, the subscriber agrees to inform and obtain approval of the general conditions and the service documentation from all registered participants.
For minors participating in activities under the supervision of an external organization, that organization is legally responsible for the conditions of participation.
For minors registered with their parents/guardians, they are responsible.
A minor cannot register alone without parental or identified guardian consent.

Medical Contraindications

It is mandatory to report certain pathologies or previous injuries (such as sprains, surgical operations, fragile knee joints, etc.) before the activity. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor and the organizer, especially regarding asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, ankle, shoulder, knee injuries, chronic ear infections, and tendinitis. Furthermore, in general, any activity offered by L’instant Verdon is not recommended for individuals with respiratory or cardiovascular difficulties, tetany attacks, or epilepsy.

Rates

The price of each service includes:

  • Supervision by a state-certified instructor
  • Equipment that complies with CE standards.
The rates presented are valid for the entire current season. They are quoted in euros and include all taxes.
